Our 7 year old daughter has been diagnosised almost 1 year ago with osteomyelitis in the right ankle with the biopsy results all negative for any type of germ. That ankle fully healed. Then about 6 months later it was found in the left ankle (which is rare according to the bone doctors),biospy again negative.That swollening of that ankle never really went down,but about a 2-3 months later it came to the same ankle (again all biopsy and culture testing came back negative). With all biopsy's there was no puss to drain which is also very puzzling to the B.C Children's Hospital.Please anyone with any information about this or anything the same - please e-mail me--as I'm having a very hard time finding out any info. online.
