Hey, Chuck my dad has had this disease now for about three years and is going in for his second surgery already. His first one was pretty much pointless because it didn't help him and now the doctors want him to go under again. This surgery is supposed to be even more complicating and painful then the last one. The doctors told him he will be flat on his back after the surgury for six days then he will have to stay in the hospital for another two weeks after that. I am just wanting to know if you ever had surgery and if so did it ease or stop the pain at all. A couple more qusetions I had was whether you have been taking any medicine(pain-killers) and if so have them been working. If you could reply back to me and any other information you could give me to help out my dad would be great. Thank you so much, Jake R.
