I experienced pain & swelling in right leg below the knee. Suspected blood clots but ultrasound was negative. Four days later I had pulmonary embolism. Right leg continues to swell and is painful, especially at night. No obvious cyst present. Question - what happens if the bursa ruptures and the sinovial fluid continuously runs into the lower leg? Can this cause thrombosis? Am seeing an OS finally next week - Managed Care is no care until you decide to manage it yourself! Thank you all for any contributions.
