dizzy,lost of balance,pain in neck orver top of head

For the past five and a half months I've been dizzy increasing to lost of balance and lately falling down. I've had xrays of my neck and a MRI and they appear normal. Problem is still going on. Now they want me to go for an EEG. The pain in my neck is on my muscle on the right side of my neck. Sometimes the dizziness gets so bad that I have trouble walking. Has anyone heard of something like this? I would like to think clearly again and be able to bend over or look up without falling forward or backward. Lately if I slepp on the back of my right side of my head it wakes me up with the room spinning.
