I was diagnosed with a hiatel hernia about 3 years ago. I'm 36 years old. I don't get the feeling of reflux or acid indigestion. The doctor says it's a silent hernia. I get a swollen feeling in my esophygus and a pressure feeling in my chest along with it. The odd thing is, is my upper spine (between my shoulder blades) tends to ache as well when I have these attacks. (I get an attack ever 2 months or so.) Does anybody have the same symptoms or have any idea why this is happening? Thanks in advance for your advice.
