I had a number of NSU infections as a young man working in the middle east 20 years ago. I think I also had Gonnorrhea on one occassion. I was treated each time with antibiotics, but I feel the infection never went away. I am now 40 but I have frequency, pain while passing water and occassional "flash" pains in the scrotal area. I have been to Urologists but no joy. When tested in the normal way, it is a matter of hit and miss - sometimes comes positive sometimes not. Most tellingly, every woman I sleep with without protection gets infected, and displays almost identical symptoms as me(although their pain is often more acute) Consequently, I gave up on having relationships because I know I will only hurt my partners. I took Doxycycline few months ago for two weeks and it seemed to work almost instantly but after finsihing the course the symptoms come back. I Know I have a residual infection from my stupid antics in the early eighties, despite what some Urologists tell me. Is there anyone out there that can help? I am desperate
