The clots had nothing to do with the appearance of the crohns. As I think back over the years I'm sure the crohns was in place long before any clots. We used to travel extensively doing auto racing and I lived on imodium for years until I finally obstructed and was dx by major exploratory surgery with a second obstruction 90 day later and another surgery. The clots - all three are trauma related. The first I slippd on ice after we raced in the Hoosierdome and bumped my leg on the step of our van. The second, another fall on the ice and a broken leg inside the artificial knee replacement. The third by running into a desk at work. I had mentioned that people with chrons already in place are supposed to be able to be unlucky enough to be more susceptible to the possibility of developing a clot. That does NOT say that one will. The odds are just more in favor of the chance it could happen. Email me if you wish to quiz further- okay?
