Metriotest was launched February 26, 2002 in Montreal by Procrea Biosciences. A diagnostic test which is minimally invasive and consists of a simple biobsy and blood test.Over a 90 per cent accuracy rate. No more laparoscopic surgeries will need to be performed to confirm endo. This is encouraging for all endo sufferers, even those already diagnosed. Being able to pinpoint blood and immunological markers can lead to a better understanding of the disease, more effective treatments, and hopefully a cure one day. I'm from the Montreal Endometriosis Association. We are a support group looking for members to help get the word out in the Montreal area. This disease still needs to be taken seriously and we are the only ones who can make it happen. We are the only ones that can give each other and ourselves hope and strength.
