Thank you for responding to Marilyns message, I am her friend that has had the muscle breakdown from lipitor. This happened 2yrs ago and I still have pain and much weakness in my legs. I have been to three different drs. and never had a muscle biopsoy done. Can you tell me what this entail. I am thinking of going to Mayo Clinis next, I am 61 and used to love to play tennis, ski, bike, hike, etc. now I have to learn to be happy knitting which I am lousy at and cards. Due you have pain in your legs and due they get cold and have a burning sensation in them all the time. Have lots of trouble sleeping through the nite due to pain. Thank you for responding. Gail
