I have had a sore throat since August. Sever pain. Test show nothing. Finally had a GI Diagnostic scope done that showed yeast in the esphogus. I am taking Diflucan 100mg. I have never heard of this. It still hurts. I have two days left of medication. I am sort of at the end of my rope and I am starting to think that I will have this sever pain forever. It is like having your throat sliced and cut. I even went to the ER with it when I first had a bad attack of it. Thought my throat was swelling up and felt like there was a knife in there. Only thing that showed was the voice box was swollen. Anyway right now the diflucan is all I am taking.This all started while taking a med pack (steroids) for a herniated disk.
