Regarding problems with your knee, I had the same problem which was the result of an auto accident years ago. I had no cartiledge left in the knee. My only option was to have a total knee replacement. I had mine done and am glad I did. It is a painful recovery, but certainly worth the pain and effort. I am dancing again for the first time in many years! GOod luck to you.
