I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis over a year ago. My doctor prescribed metrogel and I have used it over and over, and the infection keeps coming back. I am concerned that it might turn into something serious. My doctor does not seem to be concerned. Does anyone have any advise or information you would share with me. I am 50 years old and I think it might be part of menopause. I worry that it might become more serious.
