I am 30 yrs old and am 9 days post-op following a tonsilectomy. I am still in great pain. I cannot miss a dose of pain med or it is unbearable.This cannot be good for my liver or kidneys taking this much tylenol. Anyways...my tongue hurts and is giving me as much trouble as my throat. My tongue is stiff and numb and I really can't taste anything. Has anyone else dealt with this? When does it get better? I am wondering when if ever I will be able to eat good food again. I am starving although I am eating all the right foods. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
