I have just had x-rays done and am waiting for insurance co. approval of MRI request. My problem is, I can't lie down. I have severe pain from neck to between shoulder blades with pain and numbness shooting down both arms. I am currently taking Anaprox, Flexeril and Vicodin all at the same time and I still can't lie down. Have been in a chair in living room for over a week now. Can't seem to make Dr. understand that if I can't lie down anywhere at home... how will I ever be able to lie down and not move for an hour for the MRI!? Someone from the MRI clinic called me today and she seemed to understand my dilemma but her only suggestion was to call Dr. back and explain again. HELP! Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what did you do or take that supressed the pain enough to lie on your back for the test?
