Hi, I'm 16 and about to have my tonsils out. Does anyone know about how many days the pain will keep me home from school? Also, does the surgery make your voice sound different in the long run? I sing; so I'm worried about any lasting effects in my voice quality and resonanance. Good luck to everyone suffering now, I hope you all become more comfortable soon! Is this surgery really worth it?
