I am having a tonsilectomy on the 14th of July and I am scared to death. I have the stones that form and I have a constant infection. I always have a low grade fever and I have had my lymphnode in my armpit become enlarged from this. I also have a stiff neck all the time. I hope this surgery is worth it, I have never had surgery before. I also do not understand why they let you go home right after and do not keep you overnight? I am scared to to start bleeding from this also. If anyone out there can make me feel any better about having this done please respond. I have a list of great suggestions from people off of this site and will write back after my surgery. Wish me luck!
