about three years ago I had to have a hysterectomy, and on the six month check check up my dr. found a tumor and wanted it removed. well it turned out to be leiomyosarcoma. they suggested chemo and i went through the session and the first one didnt work, but in the mean time another tumor had grown and herniated and had to be removed the dr. that did that surgery said it was the biggest hernia he had ever dealt with. while i was recovering from the surgery my onacoligy dr.wendy breyer was following a clinical study that was going on in texas i beleive, and when i was well enough began a different receipe in chemo. never been so sick in my life. of course my blood count went down and i got ARDS and was litraly drowning. they put me in a induced coma for about three weeks and was surprized i came through it. i had some really good docters. i had been in remission for about two years and of course now it is back. i really dont want to go through that again. dr. breyer is the best, she really cares about her patients and i owe my life to her, but does any one know of a alternative medicine? the chemo takes nine hours and i am sick 3 weeks out of the month. i would love any suggestions. i beleive i am in stage 4 or 5
