just wanted to let you know that the same exact thing happened to me...i was fifteen and i got herpes from oral sex, i too was a virgin. i,too, was devastated and thought i could not face the world. i have learned tho that like i hope you have learned, it can be kept under control...and you can have a normal life. i know you are afraid what to say to your future love, but just be honest, i know that sounds hard, but in the end it will be best. and be safe....use protection, especially if you have any sores. i haven't had an outbreak since my first one 3 yrs ago, and i heard that the best way to prevent outbreaks, is not to think about them!:) God bless you and good luck!
