Once I get the hang of this computer, I can type a message without messing up... As previously stated, I am a Breast cancer survivor of almost 2 years. I bought my bras at the Maddox Shoppe in Dallas,Texas. My insurance pays for only 3 per year (approx $39.ea) and for a maximum of 3 prosthesis in three years($250. ea). I don't advise buying more than one because of the durability and the fact that you may lose and/or gain weight and you can't exchange and/or get a refund, even if it is still brand new. I am blessed to have a great seamstress in the family. I bought the initial bras from the professional and all others I bought from Walmart (Just my size, Playtex, Hanes...) Whatever is comfortable for you. THEN I TOOK ONE OF MY OLD BRAS WITH MUSCLE PAD AND ALL (IN IT'S ORIGINAL FORM) TO MY FRIEND/FAMILY MEMBER FOR ALTERATIONS. She was able to sew in pockets with the same type of stretchy material (if not a better quality) and attach the muscle pads as well. I wasn't able to have reconstructive surgery due to very extensive burns to the same area of my mastectomy. If I knew back then, what I know now, I never would have paid over 500. for these items, rather a total of approx $250. Hope this helps. God Bless one and All!!!!!
