My son was suffering from ear loss for seven years due to wax built up in his ears. He was seen by an ENT almost every single day, and he was even hospitalized several times because he was so tired and he would get low grade temperatures. One time, a woman advised me to take him to a dentist. The dentist took pictures on his entire head, face, and gums and what he found was that his upper and lower cheek bones were rubbing against each other causing him an indection and therefore my son felt his ears were always clugged up and he could not hear. Ones this was treated, he had no fevers, and his ears cleared up. I don't say that your son has the same problem, but it's worth to look into it. Doctors often misdiagnose and children suffer for no reason
