Be mad at the hops.'s all you want. Back in '67 the Ferderal goverment passed a law that basically requires mentally distuped people the right not to be forced into treatment programs. This stopped husdand from locking wives up forever, relitives and a ton of other things. I feel for your niece. Problably the best thing you can do is share your experieinces with her and let her know you understand and are there for her. You many want to find medical documintation on what Bulimia is and how it is treated for her parents. This needs to happen in a gentle manor or they will reject all help from you. Then your niece will be "alone". It is ashame that most people do not understand that there is more to eating disorders then food. Best wishes Diana
