My sister in laws mother they believe has myasthenia gravis, her eyes are drooped shut, she has extreme trouble breathing and swallowing, as tongue is swollen. Is this a fatal thing or is it treatable. It took a week before the neorolgist would even come to see her so they could tell her what was wrong. She had just had knee surgery three weeks before all this started happening. Any help on this would be great. Thank you Sandy
