Linda, I don't know if you had your protein C checked. Anyway, protein C is the part of insulin molecule that is broken off for the insulin to become active in the body. So, high protein C content indicates hyperinsulinemia, which is consistent with diagnosis of insulinoma. I think that should be also on your differential diagnosis.
