Before I say anything I think it may be appropriate for me to explain a little bit about myself. I am and adult with ADD and in order to help myself I have taken many psychology classes and I have spent countless hours reasearching the disorder exausting for the most part every resource I can get my hands on. The reason why I told you about myself is so you know that the opion I am about to give you is not out of ignorance or just personal opinion it is an educated one. Now about the dophin therapy. I can see the therapy possibly helping in a sense that it could give the add individual a break from his or her frustrations but my opion is that one must remember that ADD or Aspergers syndrome is not a character flaw and I think the question you need to ask yourself is how could dolphin therapy improve things that are physically or neurologically different in the individual. I would approach some of these new fads(for lack of a better word) with caution. I think that the three most important things to keep in mind for sucess are arming yourself and the person with knowledge(Ican't stress this enough), second is accept that you or the person is not stupid but in fact they are just different and that is not a bad thing(after all where would we be today if it were not people with add ie. Albert Einstein, JFK, Alexander Graham Bell, Robin Williams.....) and lastly be aggresisve, take control, think positive and learn how to take control speaking from personal expierience I know for a fact that it is possible.
