Hi! I read your article in healthlink.I guess its natural for your age to feel conscious about your birthmark especially it was on your cheek which people will notice.I got a birthmark too in my lower torso and patches in my both legs,its really huge.I think they called it trunk birthmark its not only that its brownish black in color.Now i'm 27 years of age I was able to cope with people curious about it. I took, it in a positive way like thinking this part of myself made me unique from other people. When I was your age I'm a bit insecure too coz' I can't wear bathing suit,see I'm worst than you are.I really had a trouble coping with that but as you grow older you won't focus much in physical appearance but the inner beauty will count the most.I understand with your age now but when you grow a bit older you just don't care what will people say about. What matters most is there are people who loves and care about you.Don't mind other people because its not important whatever they will say coz you don't love and care about them.Maybe you could consult skin specialist (Dermatologist) who specialize on birthmarks.
