I have a 3 year old son who has neutropenia and we have not yet had to have the GCSF shots. He was diagnosed with it at 18 months. He has a good amount of skin irritations and the upper airway illnesses affect him for weeks. He has been on atibiotics and steroid treatments. I don't have much experience with the adult neutropenia. It's hard to find others with this as it is actually considered rare. My son easily gets tired...he's only 3 but I also believe that his body has to fight harder so it runs him down. He also tends to get irritated and edgy...during this time, if it's been his regular blood visit, I notice that's when his counts have dropped. Well, good luck to you. If I didn't help, at least you know that you are not alone.
