I have 3 children and have gone through the lice thing once(thank God)it was enough!!! Did the all night searching through the heads for the eggs thing etc.Luckily ,I have boys and aftr trying the mayo thing and everything else I could try I. did shave their heads.I have heard that they have a newer product out that dissolves the eggs which would certainly help .So check the drugstores.Also since this is a recurrent situation I would be wanting to know where this child is getting them from.Is she in a school,daycare ,or does she play with certain children frequently? Also educate your child about sharing brushes , hats etc.If your child is picking them up at a school I would be calling the health dept. the school ,if they are having a major problem should be doing headchecks and notifing parents when it is found in the school.It is not fun washing everything in your house down with hot water and clorox or putting poison on your childs head and to have to do this often is unacceptable.Good luck
