Hi, I'm 38 and have just been told my lower curve is now at 55 degrees and my upper curve is at 38 degrees and surgery is something that I should be thinking about. I must add I have no discomfort and I'm still in shock. I can't seem to stop crying. I was wondering what the recovery time is and what the surgery is like. I have an appt with an ortho surgeon at the end of Nov. and would like to have some idea of what to expect. I have a husband, two boys and a full time job I just started. Any information would be great.
