I also have polymyositis and I'm off Predisone but I am on Immuran, I'm a little bit concerned why your not taking any meds. I believe treatment should start immediately after your diagnoses. I have a normal ck level but I am trying to rebuild muscle but am still exspering pain especially in my thighs. I not only have Polymyositis but I also have Myastenis Gravis have you heard of it. Dealing with two conditions is challenging and I am thankful that my child and I moved back with my parents I have to say I am very lucky. Life right now for me is challenge but being positive is so important,remember there is always someone out there worse than us. I am trying accupunture right now and hoping to get some pain relief I guess I am willing to try anything. Has anyone tried a product called HMS90 or called Immunocal it's an Immune enhance,I'm thinking about trying it...Anyway goodluck!!and always think positive!!
