My son is also 10 and has been suffering for 8 years. It has been very frustrating finding a doctor to help us. I hate to think about the things we did in the beginning and how he was misdiagnosed for so long. He has been on mineral oil for the past 4 months..Glad to read this healthlink and learn about Merilax. This is the first time I realized that perhaps someone else is going through this pain.
