I am a 20 year old female that developed minimal change disease at 18 and 1/2. This is usually a disease that happens in children, but I seem to be one of the lucky adults to get it. I have been on Prednisone for 1 year and a half. I have had two relapses in this period of time. My doctor is going to put me on another medicine called Levamisole. This is a drug that has been out for awhile and is supposed to work well. There are supposed to be only few side affects, not as many as Prednisone. Hopefully this will work for me. I would love to talk to anyone who knows more about this disease and the type of treatments that have been endured.
