I was assulted in the 1980's, by an unknown person. I had an abnormal pap smear approx 5 years later. Precancerous cells on my cervix (HPV). They did a loopcore bx. ( removed the tissue and examined it to make sure they removed it all. I was told then that I was considered cured. But because of the unknown person, I use protection for the one I love. I would recommend getting a pap smear once a year. Many cervical dysplasias are from HPV. I don't know about men other then visable signs. Hang in there! Toby
