This is interesting. I also notice that when I am having an outbreak of hives that generally ends up lasting for several months, it is the worst around my period. And, whenever I have an outbreak, I usually have a lot of stomach problems at the same time. Do you have this problem as well? I take vistaril (atarax) several times a day to try and help the itching. Zyrtec didn't last beyond about 10 hrs and then I had hives again. I tried taking vistaril and zyrtec (the pharmacist said I could) but this really made me feel bad.
