For fistula which is I am experiencing the only solution is surgery and I think is the best for safety. I read quite a lot about it and 95% recommend a surgery. They say it can heal by itself but never had an example stating that. If it heals on its own probably it will reccur again as the tunnel can branch out anywhere in the skin that is why surgery is the best solution for eliminating it.
