it was very helpful. it is such a scary time for us with our son who is 2 1/2 yrs. He was diagnosed chronic benign neutropenia at 18 mos when he had ITP. The ITP is gone and monitoring the neutropenia. He begins the 6wk blood draws to see if it's cyclic neutropenia. I also heard it was a precurser to lukemia. He has had 2 bone marrow tests that show no lukemic cell at this time. I say that because our dr. said we can't rule it out at this time. The longer he goes with only neutropenia the better the chance for only neutropenia. We are currently at 112 with his ANC, 3%. Not on G-CSF yet. We pray for high neutrophils for you and your child.
