My daughter has suffered from ear infections since she was 5 months old. At 9 months she had tubes. The tubes fell out on thier own after 12-18 months. She was complaining about her ear hurting once again, she is nearly four. I took her to the MD yesterday and he said she had an external infection and gave me a home remedy of 4 parts vinegar and 1 part alcohol. Mix this together and put 3-4 drops in the affected ear until symptoms go away. When I put this in her ear though, she complained that her ear hurt! She doesn't have tubes in anymore, could it be that her ear drum hasn't completely healed? Any ideas?
