I have had ongoing headaches, facial pain and tingling, ear and neck pain for about six weeks now. I also have a congested and runny nose- it seems to alternate from day to day. I had a sinus x-ray done about three weeks ago, but my family doctor tells me that I don't have sinusitis. I have a CAT scan booked in about three weeks time. I am wondering if these symptoms are ones that other people have had with sinusitis. I would also like to know if it is possible for a sinus infection to cause such pain for such a long period of time. I am also uncertain as to what is the best approach to take for treating sinusitis. I would truly appreciate any information that anyone has to share.
