sorry to hear of your reaction to the dye. I too am alergic to shellfish and know that because of that i would be allergic/intolerant to some x-ray dyes. unfortunately,you were not aware of that. make sure you always make them aware of this before any test and only do a dye if its an absolute MUST...but use the substitute dye because of your allergy. hope you are feeling better now.
