My husband also has had two rotator cuff repairs -- done thru workmens comp. He had to take an early retirement as going back to work would have just caused an increase in pain. Now two years down the line his arm is once again hurting a lot--he went back to the doctor and had physical therapy. We were told when he retired the workmens comp would always pay the bills forhis shoulder; however, now they are refusing and his own health inse carrier won't either. We are now in court over this stupid $1,500 bill --it is so mentally exhausting. I don't think his shoulder will ever be any better, so if you have to retire make sure you get a settlement of some kind from workmens comp. They do not live up to their promises at all when you have problems down the line. Once a joint is injured, I dont' think it can ever be properly repaired. If you get any other good news on this, please email me.
