Is there anyone who has been prescribed Neurontin for pain? It's an anti-seizure medication usually used for epilepsy. I do not suffer from epilepsy and have never had seizures, but I was put on this medication for chronic pain from damaged nerves in my neck and lower back. I started this medication only a few days ago and one of the side effects I'm suffering is major drowsiness and some dizzness. Is this normal? And does this subside after a while? When should I begin to notice less pain??(So far pain is as bad as always) Spoke with the doctor about the side effects and he changed it from 3 per day to 2 just at night. Please...anyone who has tried this...successful or not, let me know of your experience with this medication please. Thank you.
