Just curious to know - did your physician do a Western Blot specifically for lyme disease or was an additional one done for babesiosis? I've heard that there is also a type of lyme called erlichiosis. I have symptoms similar to lyme symptoms; however my Western Blot continues to come back negative; yet, my symptoms diminish whenever I'm taking antibiotics - (particularly penicillin). Just wondering what specific tests are done for erlichiosis and babesiosis. Thanks. Donna
