Sandy, The strongest pain med that I know of for chronic pain is Morphine. There are others , as well, Demerol , Methadone , as well as other pain meds. I take both MSContin( time released Morphine) and IRMorphine( instant release)along with a few other meds , for my disease , RSD ( Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy). Please see a pain Dr , and hopefully the Dr will prescribe something to make your pain more bearable . You have a RIGHT as a patient , to be kept out of pain , as much as possible !!!
