My son and myself have been diagnosed with a condition called Restless Leg Syndrome. It is very painful, and can cause swelling sometimes. This is a neurological condition. I believe medication can help. I was given Neurontin, but I also have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Epstein Barr Virus....hope it helps.
