I had the same symptoms for months. I went through an allergy workup, allergy shots, etc. The sloshing and popping was driving me up the wall. I was finally sent to a specialist who did extensive tests on my ears. The diagnosis was Meniere's Disease which is treated by a low-sodium diet and by taking a diuretic.
