I have one on my palm which I have gotten a cortizone shot for. It did go down in size and didn't give me pain for a few months, but it is bothering me again. The next step is to get it removed. I don't want to do it since it is on the hand I write with and do everything else. Also, there is no guarantee that it will not come back. If I am going to endure the pain of getting it removed, they better not come back. I would just stick with the cortizone shots.
