Hi, I have had what you are describing and I went to the cardiologist who sent me home with a holter monitor to wear for 24 hours and it recorded 960 PVC's. That is premature beats that makes your heart "skip". Mine were not of the dangerous kind. There are dangerous skips too though. You need to be evaluated soon and even if it means going to the Er and just getting a EKG and a refferal to one. Dont get too scared yet. I have chest pain as well, but I think that part of it is from my smoking. Good luck!
