Hi. I have fm and so does my best friend Patrice. She smokes and has been smoking since she was 13 - she is 41. Her pain from fm is very bad and since I have known her, she has tried quitting every way possible. In the 7 years I have known her, she has quit and gone back about 30 times. I keep telling her that quitting will help her pain and get her immune system back to working a bit better. I am sure it won't cure the fm - but it has to help. Please e-mail her for me.
