Our 6-yr. old son had the surgery done in Columbus OH to relieve him of headaches. He also had no barin or spinal cord damage. It was an occipital decompression with a C-1 laminectomy. No complications, now no limitations on him. That was 18 months ago. He is playing soccer and being a rowdy little boy. My husband has the same condition, with headaches, but thus far has opted not to have the surgery. Best of luck!!!
