Hi Barbara, I am wondering how you made out. I am also 38 and have no back pain as a result of my scoliosis. I have not had it checked in close to 20 years. I have an 's' curve (approx. 25 degrees at the time and don't think it's progressed???) I wore a brace in high school. I am thinking of surgery strictly to correct my uneveness (breast as well as shoulder blades...) but have not found a surgeon and am wondering if I'll end up regretting having it based on the possibility of complications, chronic pain... I would appreciate your thoughts.
