My Aunt suffered with this disease for many years. It is progressive. At first they can still do many things and then slowly they become trapped inside their own bodies. Her mind was always sharp and clear. We could tell from the signals we used to get answers from her. Tragic disease. She was so brave and uncomplaining. (She never complained when she still had the ability to talk.) My prayers are with all of you who have loved ones suffering from this disease.
